Archbishop Kyrill Visits the Church of All Russian Saints
On June 18, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America officiated at Divine Liturgy at the Church of All Russian Saints in Burlingame, CA, one of the closest suburbs of San Francisco. The parish is one of the largest in the diocese.
Also serving were the Parish Rector and local Dean, Protopriest Stefan Pavlenko, Protodeacon Nicholas Triantafillidis, Deacon Serge Shoomilov and Deacon Vadim Gan. The choir, consisting of 40 singers under the direction of Andrei Vladimirovich Roudenko, provided inspired renderings of the masterpieces of Russian Orthodox music, including Edinorodnij Synje by AT Grechaninov, Dostojno jest' by PI Tchaikovsky and Khvalite Gospoda s nebes by PG Chesnokov.
After the solemn Liturgy, everyone was invited to a magnificent barbeque organized by the Sisterhood under the direction of Tatiana Pavlenko and I Bogoslovsky at the church hall. At the trapeza, the Rector was congratulated on his birthday and Father's Day.
