Ordination to the Deaconate at St Nicholas Cathedral

On April 18, 2009, Bishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada ordained Subdeacon Boris Sidorenko to the deaconate at St Nicholas Cathedral.

Deacon Boris had been a parishioner at St Nicholas for over ten years, having come to Montreal from Estonia. Three years ago, he was ordained subdeacon, also by Bishop Gabriel, who at the time was Administrator of the Eastern Canadian Diocese.  

Bishop Gabriel was joined in the service by the Cathedral’s clergymen, Protopriest George Lagodich, Priest Michael Metni, along with Deacon Basil Milonov of Ottawa’s Holy Virgin Protection Church.
