On April 12, 2009, Palm Sunday, Vladimir Vadimovich Krassovsky, the director of the Cathedral Choir of Our Lady "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco for many years, was awarded the Order of St John (Maximovich) for his 40 years of service to the Church.
