The Church of all Saints Makes a Plate Collection for the Haitian Orthodox Mission

The Church of All Saints of the Moscow Patriarchate in Lisbon, Portugal, concluded a plate collection for emergency aid to the Haitian Orthodox Mission of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, which suffered from the recent earthquakes.

At the initiative of the Parish Council of the church, money was collected from parishioners over the course of three Sundays after Divine Liturgy.

The working-class immigrants of Lisbon, many of whom suffer material hardship themselves, made a wholehearted effort to help their brothers in the faith in the distant island. All the funds will be transferred to the Fund for Assistance account to help the Orthodox Mission on that much-suffering island.
