Archbishop Michael of Geneva & Western Europe has arrived in the Diocese of Australia & New Zealand
With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America & New York, Archbishop Michael of Geneva & Western Europe has arrived in the Diocese of Australia & New Zealand. The Most Reverend Michael will visit the parishes and acquaint himself with the life of the Diocese, which the late Metropolitan Vitaly called "the pearl of the Russian Church Abroad".
On Sunday, 5 August, the feast of the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God, Archbishop Michael celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Sts. Peter & Paul, in Sydney, with Protopriest George Lapardin and Protodeacon Alexander Kotlyarov concelebrating with him.
