ORPR Youth Camp of the Diocese of Mid-America Marks the 1025th Anniversary of the Baptism of Rus (Photo-Report)

On Sunday, July 28, 2013, the feast day of Holy Prince Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles, His Grace Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Administrator of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, led celebrations marking the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus in the diocesan youth camp. In his sermon, Vladyka Peter emphasized this new era in the history of the Russian Orthodox Church, during which it has benefited from the unbelievable mercy of God, emancipation from atheist persecution and the renewal of church life.
