The First Hierarch Serves at Gorny Convent, Russian Gethsemane and Bethlehem (Photo-Report)

On Sunday, October 6, 2013, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, celebrated Divine Liturgy in Gethsemane Convent, having performed all-night vigil the evening before in Gorny Convent. On Monday, October 7, His Eminence celebrated Liturgy at the birthplace of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. He was joined in the service by His Eminence Archbishop Theophylact of Jordan, Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem and pilgrim clergymen.
