Photo-Report on the Celebration of Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday in Bethany and Gethsemane

The nuns of Gethsemane Convent in Jerusalem have shared photographs of the celebrations of Lazarus Saturday at the chapel of the Russian site in Bethany, where the Lord Jesus Christ met with Lazarus' sisters, Mary and Martha, headed by Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. In accordance with tradition, the celebration of the Entrance of the Lord into Jerusalem began at the ancient staircase of the Gethsemane Convent.
