Feast-Day Celebrations at the Argentinian Cathedral
On Thomas Sunday , at the invitation of His Grace Bishop John of Caracas and South America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, His Grace Bishop Leonid visited Resurrection Cathedral in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the two hierarchs celebrated Divine Liturgy. The feast day of the cathedral is traditionally celebrated on “Antipascha” (Thomas Sunday, or the first Sunday after Pascha).
The bishops were joined by clergymen of the South American Dioceses of ROCOR and of the Moscow Patriarchate: Protopriest Igor Bulatov; Protopriest Alexei Demidov; Priest Sergei Silva; Priest Sergei Yurin; Protodeacon Nikolai Radich; and Priest Stefan Iovanovich of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
After Liturgy and a moleben, the guests were invited to a festive trapeza luncheon.
