Church-Wide Celebrations of the 700th Anniversary of the Birth of St Sergius of Radonezh Will Take Place in the Mid-American Diocese

By decision of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, the church-wide celebration of the 700th anniversary of the birth of St Sergius of Radonezh, the "Abbot of the Russian Land," will take place in St Sergius Cathedral in Cleveland, OH, from October 7-9, 2014 . A meeting of the Synod of Bishops will likewise be held at the time.
