The Dean of the Central Deanery of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand Performs a Litany Commemorating Ambassador Andrei Karlov

On Saturday, December 24, 2016, an anti-terror meeting was convened at the Russian Consulate in Sydney, NSW, Australia, to honor the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Turkey, Andrei Gennadievich Karlov, who was killed by a terrorist while performing his duties on December 19, 2016, the feast day of St Nicholas of Myra the Miracle-worker, in Ankara, Turkey.

Consul General Sergei Shipilov spoke at the event. Protopriest Nikita Chemodakov, Dean of the Central Deanery of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, performed a commemorative litany at the beginning of the gathering.
