Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York Departs for Moscow
On Monday, November 27, 2017, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, Deputy Secretary of the Synod of Bishops, departed for Moscow to participate in a Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church scheduled to begin on Wednesday. A regular session of the Synod of Bishops of ROCOR will take place during the trip.
