Archbishop Peter of Chicago and Mid-America participates in a patriarchal service in the “Cradle of the Russian Church Abroad”

On May 15, 2018, His Holiness Patriarch Irenej of Serbia celebrated Divine Liturgy in the cathedral of Sremsky Karlovci, Serbia, once the Synodal Residence of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. In addition to a host of hierarchs and clergymen of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness was joined by His Eminence Archbishop Peter of Chicago and Mid-America of the Russian Church Abroad, who is making a pilgrimage to the holy sites of Serbia with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York.
