The German Diocese celebrates a significant date for a long-time cleric
On Friday, February 9, 2024, the oldest cleric of the German Diocese, Mitred Archpriest Dimitry Ignatiev, turned 90 years old. On Sunday, February 11, the Frankfurt parish celebrated the birthday of its rector, combining the celebration also with his 50th anniversary as their spiritual father. The service was led by His Grace Bishop Job of Stuttgart, Vicar of the German Diocese: His Grace conveyed congratulatory words from His Eminence Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany. After the service, the parishioners thanked the rector and together remembered the life’s journey of the priest.
