The Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem condemns the "examination" of the relics in Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia) gave an exclusive interview to the Union of Orthodox Journalists on the so-called "examination" of the relics of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

"They are trying to put a scientific face on the defacing of Orthodox Holy things and the Orthodox people. You have myrrh-streaming skulls there, how do you [scientifically] explain that? You can't. This is just a facade, something reasonable to the Western world, to justify the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church," said Fr Roman.
