Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York celebrates Divine Liturgy on Bright Saturday at St Vladimir Memorial Church to the 1000th Anniversary of the Baptism of Rus' in New Jersey

On Bright Saturday, April 26, 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York visited St Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ, and celebrated Paschal Divine Liturgy.

His Eminence was joined by Archpriest Serge Ledkovsky, Deputy Rector of the parish, and guests in the priesthood.

The parish choir sang beautifully. The service was held under the holy aegis of the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign."

Upon completion of Liturgy, Metropolitan Nicholas congratulated everyone on the radiant feast of the Resurrection of Christ, speaking about the significance of the blessed Artos loaf. Fr Serge distributed pieces of the Artos to the faithful.

In the church hall, the sisterhood organized a Paschal luncheon for the clergy, parishioners, and guests.
