A clergyman of the West American Diocese is awarded a high clerical honor

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, on the feast of the Ascension of the Lord, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Ascension of Christ Church in Sacramento, CA.

During the minor entrance, by decision of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, Vladyka Kyrill bestowed a mitre upon the rector of the parish, Archpriest Pavel Volmensky, for his exceptionally diligent pastoral service over 40 years.
